- Gary:
- Calling the DV menu causes the nb color's to change, and the font
- in the dv menu to be the Ascii+italics+scripts font on my machine, since
- it's not in plain vanilla ASCII anymore. This is to be expected, since
- DV will be affected by the vga mode in which it finds itself. I avoid
- the problem by turning off nb's mode (Ctrl+Alt+Esc) before invoking DB's
- menu. All is then as it should be, and when I return to NB, Ctrl+Esc
- returns the font's and color scheme in NB as I left it.
- None of this is necessary on the office herc mono, plane ascii
- nb4. On that machine, as I mentioned in any earlier post, nb4's new
- system is an improvement as I can call the dv menu from within nb (not
- having a mouse at the office).
