  14.     as one who lurks on many discussion lists,  may i suggest that
  15. more of us post to Mideur-l, the middle european list , on topics of
  16. more than internal or parochial interest? Subjects like the rise and
  17. fall of communism, the pliight of transylvanians, and the Gabcikova
  18. dam are clearly of interest outside of just Hungary, Slovakia etc...
  19. we had a very good discussion going on Mideur between serbs,
  20. slovenians and Croats for a while, until serbia was cut off.
  21.     so what about entering into discussions with other groups wherze
  22. we might all learn something about each other instead of speaking to
  23. our own narrow circle?
