  14.       At the annual meeting of HSOCLCUg, held in April, 1992, Sally
  15.       Sinn, Deputy Chief, Technical Services Division made the following
  16.       announcement (Taken from the mailed proceedings)

  18.       "The fifth edition of the NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE
  19.       CLASSIFICATION should be ready for distribution in late 1993.
  20.       Christa Hoffmann, Head, Cataloging Section, and Wen-Min (Winnie)
  21.       Kao, Principal Cataloger, are directing the revision including
  22.       revising the index using the Medical Subject Headings (MESH) and
  23.       examining classification practice on actual bibliographic records.
  24.       They are testing their methodology on the subject area of
  25.       dentistry."
