  15. Wes's leap into the dictionary raised some good reasons for not using
  16. wallflowers, added to that is the absence of walls anyway in Megabyte Uni-
  17. versity.  Since we read through a screen, screeners?  Or since some
  18. read from a window, window shoppers?  Or since we sometimes read
  19. casually, browsers?  But since the sense of lurkers has always been--at
  20. least for me--of people who are on the list but in the shadows until they come
  21. out, shades might be a useful term.
