  18. Amen to that!  Intelligence in the WH and a secure, savvy First Lady who doesn'
  19. feel she has to hide her brains beneath a grandmotherly or Barbie-like
  20. exterior.  Fifty years ago we weren't ready for Eleanor, and not so long ago
  21. we put down Rosalind--I wonder if the American people are grown up enough yet
  22. to welcome a thinking, talking, thought-provoking woman in this "Year of the
  23. Woman"?  I think it will be great to have a President who really likes and
  24. respects strong women.  (And I'm probably only a bit influenced by the fact
  25. that Hillary left Wellesley the term before I started.)    --Alicia Conklin
