- Hi!
-
- I am a full-time MBA student at The Ohio State University (OSU) and am
- President of the MBA Management Information Systems Club here.
-
- I fully support the idea of a group to discuss MBA careers/job opportunities.
- We have limited recruiting on-campus because the program here is small, and
- placement office is under-staffed.
-
- I was wondering if some one could tell us where jobs for MBAs are posted ( I
- heard of biz.jobs or something similar but OSU does not get it due to its
- "Commercial content")on Internet. We have telnet and E-mail capabilities.
-
- Regarding Tim's gripe about the Duke Univ. Fuqua School not allowing Part
- timers to use career placement services: We do not have such a restriction but
- the full timers had a rule that they should attend a minimum of 8 workshops
- before being eligible to be in the "MBA Resume Book". We had the mortification
- of seeing 32 out of 130 students being not eligible because they failed to
- attend the required number of workshops in the first year. (About a dozen of
- them are employed (sent by Companies/U.S. Navy for MBA)).
