  14. This is a general question, not a request for tools/software. Is
  15. there a common thread for who does performance management/tuning?
  16. Does the 'MVS' systems programmer standardly perform the function?
  17. Do some shops have performance specalists, or possibly contract out
  18. for the function? I realize there could be significant polititcal
  19. aspects to this question, but I'm looking for technical concepts.
  20. Is this possibly a function of shop size, experience level of staff,
  21. as to who does the work?
