-
- We have had a similar problem, but not with PAC. We have a 6-node LAVC
- and we have a modem set up as a dialout modem via an LTA device. The modem
- shows up on each node in the cluster as device LTA23. When a person uses
- the modem on node A (SET HOST/DTE or via KERMIT) none of the other nodes
- show it as being used. Then when someone on node B uses the modem via one
- of the same methods it lets them. The result is that both users get REAL
- weird stuff happening - including ugly dumps and errors.
-
- The only workaround we've found is to get into SYSMAN before we use it and
- make sure the device shows that it is available on all cluster members.
