  13. Hello. I would be glad to respond to your survey.
  14. 1) I attended a normal High School and required no special services as I am
  15. a hearing person.
  16. 2) I think that attending a residential school for the deaf for my entire 4
  17. years might be frustrating, especially if 1) I didn't know sign language
  18. fluently and 2) If I had never encountered a different way of life and
  19. learning. I personally have been involved with people with special needs and
  20. might welcome the idea.
  21. 3) I think, at first, the students would see me as a stranger to their world
  22. but after a while would realize that I am not there to make them feel inferior
  23. and they are not there to make me feel inferior...I think we could become
  24. peers and friends as we could share so much with eachother.
