- I was responding to Ishbel's comment that lipreading is "very
- chance-oriented." I said that this description was too extreme.
- However, neither am I claiming the other extreme. I am not saying
- chance does not play a part.
- While other factors have much more influence on the outcome than does
- chance, there is *some* chance involved.
