  15. At University of Nebraska Lincoln, the Joint Staff Committee sponsors
  16. Student Assistant Appreciation Week each year. Donations are solicited
  17. from local business to provide lots of nice prizes for a drawing. A
  18. reception with lots of goodies is held and in individual departments
  19. different activities take place. Some hang signs and banners, some
  20. bring in treats, some give cards, etc. The students really seem to
  21. appreciate any effort at sayiung "thanks"
