- Subject: dropping contact with cd

-
- I have small network (4 stations going on 5) in the library. It is also
- connected to the campus LAN allowing access to four users. There is
- another connection to the school district as well.
-
- The network is running on Novell 2.2. It has CD NET and a Meridian
- tower holding 11 CDs. We are using the CD NET menu. We are also
- running Saber Meter for statistics.
-
- My problem is that the Silver Platter products keep dropping out.
- An error message asks to insert the CD. Turning the workstation
- off and back on corrects the problem, but this is less than acceptable.
-
- The other databases on the system do not have this problem.
-
- Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (Plus if you get
- this one right, I'll ask about my really hard problems.)
-
- Thanks
