  13. In an art class I'm taking, we are reading Louis Sullivan,
  14. architect, writing about form and function.  He writes,
  15. in a dialogue format, about form and function, then 
  16. the respondent says, "that throws light on the bank"
  17.  
  18. OK, is that an expression about throwing light on a 
  19. problem?  Or is it about bank buildings?  A foreign
  20. student asked me to explain, and I wasn't sure.
