-
- Is it 100257-04 or 100567-03 ??
-
- After I installed patch 100257-03 on my Sparc1 running SunOS 4.1.1
- I couldn't dlopen /usr/lib/libpixrect.so.2.11 any longer.
- It responded with an error message
- test.c: ld.so: conflicting usage of dlopen'ed dependents
- Is the patch buggy, or is the pixrect library inconsistent with other
- libraries.
- IMHO, it seems that there are only very few programs in the world
- that make use of dlopen calls and none of them works as expected.
-
- I should mention, that dlopen used to work *before* I installed
- the patch and it continued working after I deinstalled it.
- I was just curious to see if Sun has managed at least one time to
- provide for a patch that does not make things worse.
