- Just a note for fun...
- You can in fact fool the Amiga to show sprites in the border as well by
- updating the spritepointers manually instead of with the copper... 8^)
- We did that in an intro about a year ago (Total Perspective Vortex/Frantic)
- and I can't recall that I've seen it done ever since. Does anybody else
- know if it has been done? (not that it was any difficult, but still a
- very nice effect).
- (For those who didn't know it, using 8 sprites disables a word from
- each side of the screen. Time used by the copper to update the
- pointers, I guess. This is the area that can be eliminated)
