- Rich, can't you see the vast difference between art and advertising?
- 1. The goal of art is not to sell some product (other than the art itself)
- 2. Advertising is so extremely pervasive in today's North American society. I
- cannot go a day without seeing a plug for some product (try as I might).

- If these two factors were not involved and advertising refelected the artistic
- notions of individuals, then I would consider it art. Unfortuneately, if these
- two factors were removed, then it would no longer be considered advertising.
