- which was the title of an articles about models in the December,
- 1991 issue of Mademoiselle (nice cover of Milla Jovovich). The
- article began with a quote from Cindy Crawford, "There's a big
- difference between being stupid and being uneducated. A lot of
- models are just uneducated." The article mentioned specifically
- Claudia, Elle, Veronica Webb, Vendela, Christy, and Cindy.
-
- A side bar consisted of a a short quiz of widely varied questions
- ("What color is ecru" and "What is the French word for shoe" for
- example) which were asked of the afore-mentioned models. As
- a reference, three women of education were also asked: a
- graduate of Yale and Columbia Law School, a rabbi, and a doctor.
-
- Elle came in first, and the Yalie, the rabbi, and the doctor
- came in last.
