  20. that obesity is more widespread? If the latter, I encourage you to realize that
  21. the stats on that are wildly variable, depending on where you define "obesity"
  22. and how you define "eating disorder". Don't forget that much of what this 
  23. society views as normal behavior is actually very unhealthy; many people are
  24. quite healthy at higher weights than are often considered "normal", and the
  25. way women (and, to a lesser extent, men) view food and eating habits is just
  26. bizarre. Basically, we expect women to be following unhealthy eating habits,
  27. reward her if she does and revile her if she doesn't.
