- Amen to that. I make it no secret that I bitterly opposed Clinton before the
- election and that I feared a Clinton presidency. And while I am still uneasy
- about the future under Clinton, I plan to give him the benefit of any doubts
- I may have and hope to join with others to create a better future for *all*
- of us. This certainly is a time to abandon partisan rhetoric, roll up our
- sleeves and attack the problems that face us. I only hope that Clinton tries
- to do this without feeling a need for a federal program for everything.
