  23. I am just about 30, an academic, into fitness (mostly vegaterian,
  24. rabid non-smoker, lots of sports etc). Despite being a scientist
  25. I am interrested in literature, movies, classical music, and
  26. would like to develop a bigger interrest in the theater. I am also
  27. a keen traveler (often alone) but find it hard to reconcile
  28. myself to being a tourist. I'm afraid I don't enjoy much modern music  
  29. and *never* dance (my English reserve). I am a very independent

  31. person and need space for myself ( I enjoy my own company immensely )  
  32. but I know that I am missing out on some part of the life-experiance

  36. This is not meant to be a critisism, but I have to be honest
  37. when I say that I dislike fat. I am attracted by slim women
  38. and I am looking for somebody who is independent and who
  39. will respect my independence. I wish only to enter into an
  40. equal relationship: I think that two people can support each

  42. other and together the whole can become more than the sum of 
  43.  
  44. the parts, but I will not sacrifice my individuality, nor enjoy
  45. a relationship where I have to take any responsibility for my
  46. partner. I have met too many women who stagger from one 
  47.  
  48. relationship to the next because they *need* somebody.
  49. The most sucessfull relationship I have has was based purely
  50. on interlectual compatibility with almost no physical 
  51.  
  52. attraction; I would somehow like to combine those aspects.
