  26. I have been (and still tend to be) shy when it comes to asking a woman
  27. out.  Worse, until not that long ago, I tended to be the persistent type
  28. who also gave off a bit of a feeling of desparation.

  30. I have really only been "pursued" twice in my life.  Both times it was
  31. by someone equally as shy/persistent/deaparate as I was.  Needless to say,
  32. I panicked both times.
