  13. A description of me... :&)  ...Well, I'm not _that_ conceited---I prefer to
  14. think of it as a good sense of humor.  It's hard to know if you'll find me
  15. wonderful, so I'll do the only thing I can do---tell you about myself.  Then,
  16. you can decide.

  19.   Well, although I've posted here before, and met many wonderful women, two
  20. of whom are very dear friends, it would be nice to meet more such people, and
  21. , perhaps, find that rare and wonderful thing called love.
  22.  
  23.  I don't play head games at all, nor would I ignore your feelings.  I'm honest
  24. -almost always (but perhaps _too_ honest at times).  I can write some very nice
  25. poetry (I've included one below), and dream of being a shining Knight in Armor
  26. for you, fair maiden.  I don't put anyone on an altar, but try my best to see
  27. each person as unique.  I am usually very intuitive and perceptive---I find it
  28. truly helps me to help other people when they need it.

  30.  My emotions are very deep and strong---I can be very passionate, if you are
  31. the right woman.  I don't ask for miracles, but expect you to be yourself.
  32. I have a good sense of humor.  Also, flexibility is my most-valued trait in
  33. other people.

  35.  I don't run away when you need help---I'll be there to help guide you and
  36. protect you when you really need it.
  37.  
  38.  I like playing some sports (Volleyball---favorite, soccer, cycling (If only
  39. I had a bike...sung to the tune of "If Only I Had a Brain" :&) )), but also
  40. like romantic winter nights, and talking about real issues, and real things to
  41. someone.

  43.  Also, I don't drink or smoke---I feel I want to live life on its own terms,
  44. not the 'better living through chemistry' bit.  :&)

  46.  Anyhow, since I don't want this to be too long, I'll stop the self-description
  47. here---only my 'stats' and that poem are below.  If you're interested, write
  48. back---you have nothing to lose, and, perhaps, something wonderful to gain.

  50.  I'm 20 years old, dark, short brown hair, soft blue-grey eyes, 190 lbs. ,
  51. 6' tall, average muscularity.

  55. You have them.
  56. Silent tears that pierce the night.
  57. You claim that love is so hard to find.
  58. That it doesn't exist.
  59.  
  60. Your pillow is always wet,
  61. Flooded with the tears of everlasting beauty,
  62. Of perfect, eternal love.
  63. But, reality has shattered those dreams.

  65. You dream of Knights in shining armor,
  66. Their swords sparkling in the sunlight.
  67. You see them come to your rescue,
  68. Then you wake up.

  70. You dream of being a Queen,
  71. Of being decked out on royal robes,
  72. Of having nearly infinite adoration.
  73. A thin beam of sunlight shatters that dream.
  74.  
  75. But, you don't realize you ARE a Queen to someone,
  76. Someone WILL be your Knight in shining armor.
  77. If you just take their hand,
  78. And give them what they already feel for you.

  80. You'll probably never be a Queen of the world.
  81. And you'll probably never have endless admirers.
  82. But, you already have some.
  83. Just look for them.
