- Announcing - the great alt.peeves faq competition.
-
- Clearly there are people missing from the faq file. Some have been
- kidnapped by aliens. Some are best left unmentioned. But some, a chosen
- few, damn well deserve to be there.
-
- However, since my mission is to delegate everything until I don't even
- need to pee for myself, here's your chance not only to acquire fame and
- fortune but to enshrine in stone (metaphor, I hope. Maybe !Al should
- check what's inside the computers here.) a description of your
- favourite, or unfavourite peever.
-
- If you figure someone deserves to be in the alt.peeves faq then just
- knock together a couple of lines and send 'em to this address. The best
- ones, as judged by the ed.net.cabal in an advanced state of stupor, will
- be duly entered in the file.
-
- Of course they oughta be amusing if possible. If they're nasty but not
- amusing, we'll probably put 'em in anyway, but stick the name of the
- sender in instead of the target. That should bring
- ASenseOfResponsibilityAndPropriety to even the most negative peever.
-
- And just to show that nobody is at all biased, even the current protoFAQ
- is not held sacred. NoSireee. Fair competition is allowed. Hell, we'll
- take bribes too if necessary.
-
- Over to you....

- We wonder why other folks regard computing people as weird while we
- persistently refer to small, square objects as "discs".
