- Before too many more citizens pass this way to have a few ceremonial
- thunks at Mr. Franklin's metaphorical noggin, let us pause for a
- moment and offer up a heartfelt "Thanks, Dude!" to whatever mysterious
- Agency it was that sent him here. He has a long way to go to achieve
- memorability, but the kid has promise. It doesn't happen often, but
- when a newcomer demonstrates the combined qualities of boorishness,
- condescension, witless insult-mongering, and fresh-out-of-the-nutrient-
- tank cluelessness, a Peevetown legend is in the making. I can hear the
- objections already: "He's no Jeff Mortenson, buddy, and Denise Caire
- makes him look pathetic by comparison". Well, yes, but these things
- take time.
