- Plenty of them. We also have feral dogs, coyote, fox, and the
- owls are thick this year. As Gary Larson noted, "Birds of prey know
- they're cool." I once watched a mother coyote do what appeared to be a
- small dance for several hours in an adjacent field. She would rear up
- on her hind legs, spin around, and pounce. At first I thought she was
- just frolicking about, until I noticed that about every third pounce
- she'd be munching on a field mouse. I wonder if they bite the inside
- of your mouth while you're chewing on them?

- I also saw a fox get one of my chickens a few years ago.
