- So life isn't exactly great at the moment. Still, I can get some peace &
- quiet while I'm asleep. NOT!
-
- I've come across a strange new problem: Injuries sustained whilst
- sleeping. I wake up, my side hurts, and it feels like there's a huge
- bruise there for a couple of days. Since this wasn't there when I went
- to sleep, something obviously happened in the intervening period.
-
- What are the possibilities?
-
- * Dreams. Maybe. It'd have to be the sort of dream where I win an entire
- world war by hand to hand fighting with the entire opposing army. Now I
- do feel tired enough for this to have happened, but the only dream that
- I remember involved walking around Motherwell. Unpleasant, but not
- really sufficient as an explanation.
-
- * Sleepwalking. Not something I've been prone to up 'til now. Possibly
- I've got up and gone out bullfighting or something. No obvious clues
- like bull heads on the pillow though.
-
- * Astral projection. Maybe I got hit by Gary Stollman's Astral Train on
- its travels over from alt.alien.visitors. I'm sure I'd remember this
- though.
-
- * Alien kidnap. Maybe I've been abducted by alien bimbettes from
- Eroticon IV for weird sexual experiments. That'd explain the tiredness
- at least, and I hear that these aliens erase your memories afterwards.
- If it turns green and drops off, I'll know who to blame.
-
- Peeve: It's an unsafe world when you can't even regard your own bed as a
- zone of safety.
