- I think it is a better idea to support our local hobby stores
- whenever possible. I agree that you can save a few bucks by
- mail-ordering. Sometimes mail-order is the ONLY way to obtain
- kits, tools and supplies, especially when they are of an
- esoteric nature. But I have seen too many local hobby shops go
- belly up. On the Sunday afternoon when you run out of Testors
- Blue Angel Blue while painting the final addition to your 1:72
- collection of Navy planes, you come to appreciate having a local
- (pronounced 'Now!') source of basic supplies.

- I have ordered from both Squadron and Discount and highly
- recommend both, but I think if the option exists, we should
- support the shop on the corner Even if it means spending a few
- dollars more. If we don't then it may not even be an option
- sometime when we really need it.
