  13.                    THE OSIRIS GOD-FORM RITUAL

  28. (Note that the particular God-Form that Thelemites should adopt
  29. in this Ritual is that of Harpocrates, who is the Child Horus and
  30. the Lord of Silence.)

  32. 1. Perform the Banishing Ritual.
  33.  
  34. 2. Invoke the Four Elements and Spirit. (Osiris is not only the
  35. Lord of the Underworld, but is also the Lord of the Elementals.
  36. He is the Lord of Fire, Water, Air and Earth.) (Note: Horus is
  37. also the Lord of the Elements, symbolized by the Blazing
  38. Pentagram.)

  40. 3. Face East. Withdraw yourself into the centre of the room.

  42. 4. Make Spirit Symbol.  Plunge dagger into the centre of Symbol
  43. and vibrate:

  45.                       JEHESHUAH  JEHOVOSHAH

  47.                       (or HOOR-PAAR-KRAAT)

  49. 5. Sit down and assume the Osiris (or Horus) God-form and expand
  50. in size. While holding the God-form should the mind wander, bring
  51. it back with the repeated invoking of the Coptic pronunciation of
  52. Osiris -- pronounced "Ae - shoo - rist" (or invoke "Hoor-Paar-
  53. Kraat").

  55. 6. See the pale golden aura (or Blue Egg) around you. Be sure to
  56. keep everything in proportion as you expand. And be sure to be
  57. porous.

  59. 7. See yourself as Osiris (or the Child Horus).

  61. 8. Then say the four Prayers of the Elementals.

  63. 9. Then say the Invocation "Unto Thee, Sole Wise, etc."

  65. 10. After the last line "Let the White Brilliance of the Spirit
  66. descend", vibrate:   (after bringing the Light down)

  70. 11. Keep on vibrating "Ae - shoo - rist"  (or "Hoor-Paar-Kraat")
  71. through the Ceremony and after. It awakens something inside that
  72. corresponds to the form. You are making use of a highly integral
  73. system to assume form. You are evoking something that has always
  74. been there.

  79. Use your own imagination for embellishments. Apply the Golden
  80. Dawn method. See yourself lying in a coffin; and after the
  81. Invocation of the Light, see yourself then as standing out of it
  82. with just your feet in the coffin. It is a burial place and
  83. initiatory Temple.

  88. After having clothed yourself with the God-form, see yourself as
  89. Osiris (or the Child Horus), and the aura as a ball of Light (or
  90. Egg of Blue). Picture as vividly as you can, and vibrate the
  91. names "Ae - shoo -rist" (or "Hoor-Paar-Kraat") and "Exarp, Hcoma,
  92. Nanta, Bitom," and imagine the ball (or Egg) as vibrating.
