  41. I tried it, I didnt get flooded. You see.. nickserv replies to my
  42. message with a NOTICE, not a PRIVMSG, and luckily for dorks like you
  43. who might try it, "/on msg "* *" /msg" conveniently converts your
  44. reply to a notice so you too will be obeying good automated client
  45. ettiquette.

  47. And guess what? NickServ doesnt need to give out chanops either.
  48. NickServ should NOT be removed. It obeys good bot ettiquete. Well
  49. it does give out unsolicited messages :-)

  59. Why bother with the last one? It will only affect me and the server
  60. I connect to (same machine/unix socket). Your PRIVMSG for PRIVMSG
  61. bot floods the channel, and from here to norway passess thru
  62. quite a few servers.
