  15. Some of the informations printed in the IRCprimer 1.0 (Last june version)
  16. are now irrelevant (I may also need to convert the script(s) to the last
  17. pre-version language) so I may start working on an update soon...

  25. For now, the IRC primer is on a few ftp sites, including nic.funet.fi,
  26. cs.bu.edu, plod.cbme.unsw.edu.au ... It's a 32 pages postscript document,
  27. teaching basics of IRC and ircII up to learning how to write a .ircrc,
  28. and answering about a dozen faq's. If you don't have a postscript
  29. printer/previewer Sorg has produced a very nice text version of the file.

  31. For those interested in local adaptations to fit your university
  32. requirements/setups, or translation in another language, I have also
  33. left the LaTeX source code of the primer on nic.funet.fi one or two
  34. months ago. Check out for files called IRCprimer.ps.Z, IRCprimer.txt.Z
  35. and IRCprimer.tex respectively.

  37. I would especially like to receive a list of the ftp sites admins
  38. who support this file, of the new IRC clients available (MacIntosh in
  39. particular...) and of sites that have public clients available, even
  40. if the use of such clients is restricted to a country or state.
