- I think the following will work. If it does or doesn't, please let me know.
- I don't have a modem, and my pc is unreliable (tho if the following works, I take my chances with it), so I haven't been able to check it out:
-
- Telnet to hermes.merit.edu (35.1.48.150). At the "Which host:" prompt, enter help.
- Select ACCESS from the menu. You can query the data base based on state, zip,
- etc.... There are also menu options which describe how to conect ==> Basically,
- when you dial the number you're supposed to get the "which host:" prompt.
-
- Good luck.

- Dear Sirs,
-
-
- I am seeking a position as a systems analyst, in the private sector, in an area
- where I may use my skills to contribute to your company's development of
- state-of-the-art software and support materials, and/or provide software
- support. I have eleven years experience across a broad range of platforms,
- primarily in systems development, administration, and support.
-
- As my resume indicates, my involvement in system software development has
- included medium and large scale development efforts, encompassing all
- phases of the software development life-cycle, from system requirements
- specification and subsequent design and development to support and
- maintenance, with a heavy emphasis on OS internals.
-
- I am experienced in the development and support of networks. I currently
- rotate through a Unix support help desk which fields many Internet questions.
- I am skilled in developing technical, user oriented documentation. I am a
- strong self-starter, and prefer to know why something works, rather than just
- how.
-
- I am a dedicated employee with innate analytical qualities and proven
- experience in the design, development, and integration of software systems.
- My experience further enhances my ability and willingness to work at a high
- level of technical responsibility.
-
-
-
-
-
- Sincerely,
-
-
-
-
