- VW recommends that the spare be overinflated to allow for at least some
- washer use before the spare becomes unusable. Around 50 PSI were suggested.

- I owned 2 beetles while attending Michigan State. Don't count on the
- "heater" or "defroster" to be of any use until at least 20 minutes of
- driving time have elapsed. I also found that the best way to clean the
- windshield was stopping in parking lots and scrubbing it with a handful
- of snow.
