- Not being Mike, you can take this with anysize grain of salt you wish.
- I think it's a fake. Netcom is a public-access (if you got the bucks) Unix
- company which brags about its total anonymity.
- This means that you need not use your genuine identity as an account name,
- nor do you have to have your real name connected to your account in any
- way. Why someone would wish to use the name of Mike's esteamed business
- partner is beyond me (I would think that even he would reconsider before
- using his own name, knowing what most netters think of him.), unless it's
- simply part of a setup for a very elaborate prank.
