  18. Well, I have had a chance to listen to Howard Stern (in Chicago)
  19. for a couple of weeks now, and now I feel I can give my opinion
  20. of his work.

  22. I really tried to give his show a chance, listened to it every day at 
  23. least for the past 2 weeks. At first I thought, not too bad, maybe this
  24. guy can be as good as people claim.

  26. Well, as the days went by, it became obvious that I just don't get this
  27. guy's appeal. I mean, the show seems to be nothing more than a 
  28. commercial for his video, for himself, etc. ALL he seems to do is
  29. constantly plug his video. Is he so insecure that he practically
  30. has to beg everyone to order his video?

  32. Also, on one show he is slamming this Gennifer Flowers chick (Clinton's
  33. gal), and then a few days later, she is on his show, and he is basically
  34. kissing her ass, an ass he called big a few days earlier.

  36. Sorry for all that like this guy, but I have to admit I don't
  37. care for his show, he is a little too high on himself, and his cohort
  38. is also very annoying.

  41. The guy has a right to be on the radio if there are enough people out
  42. in the world that like his show, so I don't have any problem with that. 
  43. By the way, I have what most would consider a very sick sense of humor,
  44. so it isn't that I don't like him because I find him offensive. I just
  45. have found his show to be boring.

  47. I think WLUP in Chicago really screwed up by getting him on the AM,
  48. and putting Steve & Garry on FM. It is enough for me to even give up on
  49. the station totally.

  51. Anyway, just my opinion(s), hope I don't offend any fans. I'm sure I'll
  52. "turn" my radio dial to Howard from time to time, just to see if things 
  53. have changed, but I don't hold out much hope.
