- In article <1dadh1INN4sj@agate.berkeley.edu> Ajay Sreekanth,
- ajay@miro.Berkeley.EDU writes:
- >While I've never heard the radio show, I thought that Stuttering
- >John's interviews on the TV show were hilarious. Considering that
- >Howard loved to rip on the people who would try to avoid being
- >interviewed, it appears extremely hypocritical when he doesn't
- >have the guts to face interviewers himself.
-
- Actually he is tired of negative interviews. He has done interviews with
- the
- media enough times to know that no matter what they promise him the
- story will be about they actually do ends up being negative.
- Essentially why should he shoot himself in the foot. In addition any
- reporter
- could just listen to his radio show and hear his feelings toward the FCC.
-
- Yeah, he's probably
- >under lawyer's orders, but what harm could a short comment to a CNN
- >reporter do? I wonder what he would do if a couple of loonies
- >called his show every day and asked him about Larry King.
-
- Actually about six months ago a listner would call in and as soon a Howard
- answered the phone the listner would say "Uh Sorry gotta go. Bye" and hang
- up the phone. This went on for about a month every day.
