- Howard tells us to vote for Clinton, sighting his trouble with the FCC.
- He tells us that he has no choice in the matter. This is true. Will
- things be better for him under the Clinton administration. We don't know;
- after all, Al and Tipper Gore are now in the picture, and we all know how
- much they care about the issue of Freedom of Speech.
- Howard, this morning, brought up the idea of possibly, in the near future,
- forming a PAC group to lobby for issues of his concern. Also, a fax that
- he received, suggested that since he had so much media power, via
- listeners, it would be in his best interests to do so.
- Personally, I think we can do something about this, since we too yield
- power. Most of us, in this newsgroup, are from major universities and
- have a fairly good amount of intelligence. I suggest that we form our own
- PAC - something like:
- FUCPAC (Fairness Under Communication Political Action Committee).
- The group would lobby Congress and other federal organizations in the name
- of Free Speech (our 1st Amendment right). If anyone else is interested in
- this idea, please contact me. I am dead serious about this. On this
- computer-net we have power in numbers. Why don't we start using this
- power.
