- driver technology. The instructor, Howard McQueen, will demonstrate
- a 386-based LAN and discuss server caching, SCSI technology, menuing,

- AFTERNOON SESSION
-
- The afternoon session covers analog dial-access technologies, including
- remote control and remote client solutions. Howard has assisted a number

- designs that enfranchise MS-DOS/Windows, Macintosh and Unix users with
- access to the enormous wealth of MS-DOS CD-ROM databases.
-
- Howard will present system designs that provide TCP/IP compliance over
- carefully regulated backbones. Issues relating to migrating data from
- CD-ROM to magnetic will be discussed, along with several successful case
- studies.
-
- Finally, networked optical jukeboxes will be discussed as a means to
- deliver images to users. Howard will also position multi-media and the
