- Not to disagree, but there is an impression I get that in the peak of the
- Art Deco skyscraper period there was sort of an attitude that the buildings
- were temples of a secular religion of commerce, so the decor was
- important to the concept. And today there's the 5000 s.f. of flex
- office space for the back office of some company; but for the office
- the public sees they want it to be impressive, opulent.
