  12. Hello,
  13. I am running UCX 1.3 for last few months. When we went on backbone I configured
  14. the UCX to run. It was running without any problem for last few months. couple
  15. days back I started getting error telling that not enough dynamic memory to 
  16. open socket. I talked to some people they pointed out that i had enabled the 
  17. dynamic routing [ this was the last question in ucx configuration with default
  18. answer being YES]. I went back and re-configured the all the machines. Now it
  19. loads fine but, it can't access the name servers or any other machines outside
  20. our domain [128.118.183]. I thought this is some problem with the net mask and 
  21. broadcast mask. MY IP address is 128.118.183.100  before i had used Net mask 
  22. as 255.255.255.0 and broadcast mask as 128.118.183.255 [ this is when i had 
  23. enabled the dynamic routing]. Now i have disabled the dynamic routing and with
  24. these netmask and broadcast mask i can't access the nameservers. Just to try, 
  25. changed the netmask and net mask to 255.255.0.0 and broadcast mask to 
  26. 128.118.255.255 for this  setting now i am able to access the nameservers and
  27. any other host in 128.118 domain but not outside 128.118 domain. 
  28. Everyone else here is using the netmask and broadcast masks what i we  had 
  29. before [ in that line].
  30. can anyone help me with this problem.
