- Hi fellow netters,
-
- I just got done configuring UCX 2.0 for the umpteenth time and am almost
- at the end of sanity. It seems that no matter what I do, I can't seem to
- connect to anything within or outside my domain by name. I am running
- Motif 1.1 and UCX 2.0 on a 4000-vlc.
-
- I have neglected to define the host I am trying to TELNET to, because I
- don't want to store a seperate host table on this machine. I'd like that
- part to be handled by the router only. I have used the command:
-
- SET ROUTE blah.blah.blah.0 /G_ADD=blah.blah.blah.router /PERM
-
- in the hopes that it would take care of that. I have also made sure that
- the router's address IS in the host table.
-
- What have I not done. It's probably blatantly obvious to all of you, but
- I am not making any progress no matter how much I read TFM. Please, give
- me a clue! Thanks alot, in advance.
