- I've been trying to get LPD to work using UCX V2.0, but without much
- success. I've configured a local printer using UCX$LPRSETUP and entered
- into /etc/printcap of a Unix machine and then tried doing an lpr. I get
- an error message saying User arnold not authorised to print on this
- host, followed by a system message saying network object not known. I've
- tried adding various proxies but without success.
-
- I saw a article in this news group some time ago about a trick for
- setting up proxies for lpd, but I've lost the article.
-
- Can anyone help please?
