  11. I'm trying to configure a 3rd RD disk to a RQDX3 on a MV-II.

  13. The RQDXE manual says it can support 4, but doesn't give the switch settings.

  15. Configuration:
  16.                  MV-II RQDX3 --- to RQDXE #1 (input)
  17.  
  18.           RQDXE #1
  19.                   INTERNAL(J1) --- to DUA0 (CPU BA23)        
  20.              INPUT (J2) --- from RQDX3
  21.                EXTERNAL(J3) --- to RQDXE #2
  22.  
  23.           RQDXE #2
  24.                   INTERNAL(J1) --- to DUA1 (CPU BA23-C)        
  25.              INPUT (J2) --- from RQDXE #1
  26.                EXTERNAL(J3) --- to RD54-D
  27.  
  28.           RD54-D (external drive)
  29.                   INTERNAL(J1) --- to DUA2 (same box)
  30.              INPUT (J2) --- from RQDXE #2
  31.                EXTERNAL(J3) ---  empty

  33. The default switch settings are used for RQDXE#1.  There doesn't seem
  34. to be any switches on any of the drives. (including RD54-D)  What I 
  35. need is DIP switches for the second RQDXE.

  37. The manual gives configurations w/o descriptions and both DEC's 800# and
  38. local field service haven't been much help so far.
