  20.     Seeing as recent discussion on this thread  has  degenerated  into  a
  21.     flame  fest,  allow me to express my general disgust at the responses
  22.     to Garry's (garry@ithaca.com) thoughts on VMS shareable  images  from
  23.     the self professed VMS "experts" in this group.

  26.     hackers, engineers and "scientifics". Carl (carl@SOL1.GPS.CALTECH.EDU)
  27.     sounds like he would prefer  a  fistfight  to  a  discussion  on  the
  28.     subject.   Neither  one seems to offer any insights or other coherent
  29.     thoughts on  why  (technically)  Garry's  ideas  are  so  bad.   They
  30.     actually  tend to sound somewhat like a VMS "Moral Majority" - VMS is
  31.     good ... DEC did it right ... anyone who says different is  evil  and
  32.     must be exorcised from the NET.

  35.     sarcasm, and personal attacks holds little weight in my book.
