  23. Rodney Douglas is the person driving the silicon neuron chip written up in
  24. Nature and highlighted by Terry Sejnowski and Pat Churchland in the October
  25. issue of Byte.  He is a very broad ranging scientist -- experiments on
  26. cortical neurons, computer simulations, and now silicon neuron models. He
  27. is an excellent speaker and an engaging person.
