  15. Why should living systems use buffers as a part of their normal 
  16. compositon?
  17. What are stable internal and external enviroments?
  18. Would buffers aid or hinder the maintence of a stable internal enviroment 
  19. in a changing external enviroment?
  20. What occurrances might case a change in the internal chemistry of an 
  21. organism (such as a human)?  What happens?
