- Hi,
-
- I'm looking for some world population information, preferably
- both graphic and numerical. I need to know how many people
- live within X miles of the coast all over the world. I have
- a National Geographic map showing in color populaton density
- (four different colors showing inhabitants/square kilometer).
- But getting accurate numbers from this would be difficult.
- The ranges are:
-
- < 1
- 1 - 10
- 10 - 100
- over 100
-
- This just isn't accurate enough. I would like to know within
- about 5%.
-
- Does ANYONE know where this type of data could be found? I
- know it must be somewhere! Lastly, I'm in a hurry. Worst
- case I'll make an estimate from my map, but if any one has
- ideas, send them via e-mail to killoran@ll.mit.edu.
-
- Thanks for any/all help!
