- According to this, fair competition in the "marketplace of ideas"
- between the doll's message that "math is hard" and the educator's
- message that "math is not hard" is not good enough. The doll's
- message must be suppressed, so that *no one* -- not even a mother
- who believes that math *really is* hard -- will be able to buy
- this particular talking doll for her daughter.

- Suppose Hasbro comes out with a talking "King Kong" doll that
- tells kids, "Men evolved from apes," while preachers are
- trying to tell kids that Man was Divinely created out of dust
- on the sixth day of Creation. And suppose the preachers say
- it is their responsibility as religious persons to see to it
- that Hasbro withdraws this ill-considered product from the market.
