- I think it is easy to make a mistake and use 'hard' in a pejorative sense; my
- own view is that one cannot expect to get something worthwhile out without
- putting a lot of effort in: you don't get something for nothing. I enjoy maths
- (obviously!) and have generally found the stuff which interests me most is the
- stuff which takes most effort to get to grips with. Don't be afraid of making
- it hard, just be sure to make it interesting!
