  11. I'm trying to build a DC motor control circuit.
  12. I'd like to get the motors running from 0% to 100%.

  14. I'm considering running the motors with a pulses from a 555, using 
  15. the 555's duty cycle to vary the speed.

  17. Being able to change the directon of the motors via a simple switch 
  18. is important...

  20. I realize that there are chips available. Numbers anyone? TI manufactures 
  21. one,  as does National Semiconductor.. How easy are they to get, and
  22. how easy are they to control / wire / what external parts are 
  23. required?
