  13. I want to design a better car stereo antenna system. The 
  14. system would include impedance matching elements, baluns, 
  15. and an amplifier.  My question is, does anyone have a good 
  16. book on how the antenna works on a car.  Almost all books 
  17. on antenna theory, do not include anything about the car 
  18. antenna system.  For instance, I understand that the antenna 
  19. is capacitively loaded. Do the receivers anticipate and 
  20. match the antenna correctly, or do they just live with 
  21. the mismatch?  Does the antenna impedance match the 
  22. impedance of the feed cable or the receiver?  Any help 
  23. would be greatly appreciated.
